Your Strategy Changed. Did Your People?

Your Strategy Changed. Did Your People?

Hey Spark Family,

Organizations everywhere are in motion.

Shifting markets. Rising expectations. Fresh challenges and opportunities. Every business is being called to adapt - not just to a new kind of customer, but to a new kind of workforce, and a new kind of future.

For some, that means preparing for an M&A or IPO. For others, it’s going digital, launching major new products, or building out a true omnichannel business. Whatever the scenario, one thing remains constant: change.

But while strategies shift quickly on paper, people don’t change at the same speed.

In almost every leadership conversation I’ve had lately, there’s the same tension:
the business has transformed, but the team is still catching up - emotionally, behaviorally, and culturally.

And that’s where great leadership makes all the difference.

The Research Is Clear

McKinsey (2025): 70% of large-scale transformations fail, most often due to employee resistance and lack of management support.

Gallup (2025): The #1 thing employees say they need from their leaders during uncertainty is hope.

➡ Deloitte (2025): Organizations that balance performance with human wellbeing are 2.3x more likely to sustain transformation success.

What I'm Seeing In The Field

In times of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), the strongest leaders don’t just communicate change - they embody it.

They lead with hope - the intersection where positivity and authenticity meet.

Positivity builds faith.
Authenticity builds trust.

And through every change, disruption, and pivot, people need both.

Because when faith and trust are present, teams stay grounded in what matters most the shared belief that, together, they can navigate what’s next.

The other piece? Clarity.
I always remind leaders that clarity is kind, and context is key.

When expectations are transparent and direction is grounded in purpose, uncertainty loses its power.

What We Teach Leaders Inside Spark Brilliance

Change enablement isn’t about managing tasks, it’s about leading people.
Inside Spark Brilliance, we help leaders:

🔹 Communicate expectations with clarity and care

🔹 Pace transformation to protect energy and engagement

🔹 Model calm and hope through uncertainty

🔹 Connect emotionally before moving tactically

When leaders bring these behaviors into motion, transformation doesn’t erode culture - it strengthens it.

🌟 Your Challenge This Week

Ask yourself:

  • What kind of hope am I modeling right now?
  • Where can I bring more faith and trust into how I lead my team through change?
  • How can I create clarity - and context - where there’s currently confusion?

Transformation doesn’t have to feel chaotic.
With hope, trust, and clarity, it can become a shared act of growth.

With gratitude,
Jackie
